I’m just really liking how these characters are coming along even while being revamped they still have that old flare I love so much about them in the first place.
Cutie furrees for this blog too. Probably because I want to draw lots of lovey-dovey-smut of them.
Here’s that picture I finished earlier this morning~ I like it plenty. It’s a new take on two of my older characters, figured it’s 2013 they need some editing since my tastes have changed a bit over time.
Ashes didn’t get much, all that really changed was the toes are just a fainter dark color than her hair/chest/tail. I thought it suited more and looked better by comparison.
Coacoahas undergone some bigger changes though, rather than using a spited typo name I’m going to be calling her CeeCee for now on. And the whole point of this character was to be a cherry and chocolate kind of concept - so I took away the shiny red nose and eyes and replaced them with dark rich chocolate browns. I left her hair because it looks nice and stands off great with her. That’s all that really changed for her.I like it.

I’ve been thinking about how I wanted to draw more of my furry girls and characters. Someday I wanted to make a portfolio package of “Spending the day with Ashes” concept from waking up, enjoying the day/various events, and going to bed.
But before I ever did something like that I’d have to warm up which means Ashes doodles galore. I’m glad you like her!
Back when I use to post on FA under the name Ashi, I used Ashes as my mascot furry character. She was pretty popular back then but it was a few years ago now. I just wonder if anyone remembers her or even misses her. I kind of do…
